Target shortlisted in two categories at the 2021 UK Search Awards

We’re excited to announce that Target has been listed as a finalist in two categories at the 2021 UK Search Awards.
Best Local PPC Campaign
Our first nomination is for ‘Best Local PPC Campaign’ for the results that our team helped the City of Bristol College to achieve this summer.
City of Bristol College came to us with a problem: how do you enrol and engage students during a global pandemic? Moreover, how do you do it without visiting campus, and how do you do it at scale?
Our search marketing specialists stayed up late on a school night to learn about what truly motivates students to pursue further education.
Everything from the language used by the more senior of the Gen-Z cohort; to how, when and where they consume content online.
We created an integrated strategy, with Google Ads at the heart, that delivered some astounding results:
Course applications up by 54% vs. previous year
Conversion rate up by 17% vs. previous year
Cost-per-acquisition down by 45% vs. previous year
Ultimately, the outcome was an influx of inspired students (each living less than a 30 minute commute from campus) all heading to the City of Bristol College to continue developing their life’s passion.
Best Low Budget SEO Campaign
The second award that Target is nominated for is ‘Best Low Budget SEO Campaign’ for our work with IgniteSAP.
We helped the recruitment brand increase its monthly organic traffic by 1,010% and rank on Page 1 in their primary territory, Germany, for 21 of their most profitable keywords. All in just 6 months.
In total, we researched over 2,000 keywords, created 29 SEO landing pages and have generated more than 100 .de backlinks and citations.
The increase in organic leads and traffic has supported IgniteSAP’s rapid expansion, as it continues to grow its team and revenue, by delivering top tech talent for its clients, including Deloitte & Infosys.
Winners Announced Next Month
As a team, Target is fiercely ambitious and intensely passionate about the possibilities of creative performance marketing – and nothing is more meaningful and motivating to us than the peer recognition of these nominations.
The winners are due to be announced at the awards ceremony hosted by Rob Beckett on 16 November at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster.
Please keep your fingers crossed for us!
